There is much to interest the visitor here, ranging from the traditional rustic architecture, to ancient ritual ceremonies, and the historical interest of the castle and its mediaeval village at Bragança. You can still hear 'Fado' being sung in the villages and the open-air markets provide a rich insight into rural life.
